Getting to Hitchin
By CarHitchin is located in North Hertfordshire, approx. 3 miles from Junction 8 of the A1(m) motorway. Coming from the A1(M), take Junction 8, and follow the A602 signposted Hitchin.
From the M1 Motorway Junction 10, Hitchin is approx. 10 miles. When leaving the Motorway at Junction 10, follow signs for the A505 signposted Hitchin.

By RailHitchin Railway Station is on the Great Northern Line, which runs from London to Edinburgh. The Cambridge Line also connects just north of the town. This provides Hitchin with frequent and reliable train services to London Kings Cross (30 min average travel time), Moorgate (45min) Peterborough (45 min) and Cambridge (30 min). All of these services run approx. 2-4 times per hour.
